“Natural Home cleaning”
Natural home cleaning using natural cleaners at home is one of the most practical ways to avoid hazardous chemicals from using commercialised cleaning liquids. You may think it is not as effective as those chemically rich, bleach-and ammonia filled shop-bought items, but you will be surprised how effective it is.
Using organic natural cleaners are the only option you have if you want to avoid allergies and protect yourself from suffering from itchiness and sensitivities. Most of them have the same base of ingredients as follows:
1. Distilled White Vinegar
2. Bicarbonate of soda(baking soda)
3.Washing soda or sodium carbonate
4. Borax
5 Castile soap- bar and liquid
6. Lemons and lemon juice
7. Salts Epsom salts or sea salt
8.Oils, almond, olive vitamin E and coconut.
9. Hydrogen Peroxide
10 Alcohol- rubbing alcohol & vodka
11. Aloe Vera gel
12. Essential oils
These ingredients can be prepared in different ways in accordance with its uses and what to clean. Below are just a few different mixtures and its uses to clean in different areas of a house.
Bathroom: a very important room in your home that is used several times a day, with so much use, it needs some cleaning attention with good cleaning products.
1. All-Purpose Bathroom Cleaner Ingredients:
1 tablespoon hydrogen peroxide
1teaspoon Castile liquid soap
10 drops peppermint essential oil
5 drops eucalyptus oil
5 drops lemon essential
Preparation:
Add the hydrogen peroxide, liquid soap and 2 1/2 tablespoons water to a small spray bottle. Add the essential oils and shake well.
2. Bedroom and Living Room
Air Freshener
Ingredients:
125ml( 4fl Oz 1/2 cup) distilled water
6 drops eucalyptus oil
6 drops lavender essential oil
6 drops orange essential oil
2 drops tea tree essential oil
Preparation: Add the water to spray bottle, then top up with essential oils and shake to combine.
3. Carpet Cleaner (powder)
Ingredients:
250 g(9oz) bicarbonate of soda
125 grams(04 Oz ) borax
6 drops lavender essential oil
6 drops tea essential oil
6 drops peppermint essential oil.
Preparation: In a glass jar, mix the bicarbonate of soda and borax thoroughly. Drip the essential oils into the mix, shake to combine and sprinkle over your carpet. Leave for 15-20 min, before vacuuming it all up.
